SpongeBob - The Blue Album (also just The Blue Album ) is the second or third studio album by the cartoon character SpongeBob , where Santiago Ziesmer is the singer.

backgrounds

The previous studio albums BOBmusik - The yellow album and BOBmusik - The yellow winter album , which were very similar, landed great success with the public. The same concept was used in production: you took successful songs in Germany , took its melody, but a new text. So far only the song Da comes a U-Boot has been released as a single at the same time as the release of the album, which is supposed to represent a new version of Lucenzo's and Don Omar's single Danza Kuduro .

This time the term BOBmusik was omitted from the name of the album , although the album contains a new version of the song BOBmusik . Instead, the name of the artist SpongeBob was presented in front of The Blue Album .

The track list showed that this time there were 15 completely new tracks on the album, not like in the previous album. The song BOBmusik is - as already said - only a slightly modified version, the track Beginning From the Beginning II has no lyrical resemblance to its predecessor, but the principle is the same: SpongeBob asks you to listen to the album again.

In addition to the voice of Santiago Ziesmer (SpongeBob) you can also hear Cathlen Gawlich (Sandy), who can also be heard in the pre-album, and Eberhard Prüter (Thaddäus).

In keeping with the title The Blue Album , SpongeBob with an electric guitar in his hand can be seen on the cover with a blue background .

reception

On laut.de is highlighted with appreciation that the interpreter SpongeBob listeners with "a lot of enthusiasm and kindness" bribe. The album is usually rated positively, but there would be a lack of self-composed works, such as B. Taube Nüsschen from the last album, although three of the fourteen songs were composed by myself.
