BOBmusik - The Yellow Album is a studio album by the cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants . The singer of the songs on the album is SpongeBob's German voice actor Santiago Ziesmer .
Background and appearance
The album comprises a total of fifteen tracks, but not all of them are songs. The first track BOBmusik (Let's go) is the intro , the ninth track Who am I? is an introduction to the tenth track Taube Nüsschen , where only Santiago Ziesmer (SpongeBob) and Cathlen Gawlich (Sandy) speak. The fourteenth track BOBmusik (What has already ended?) Is the outro of the album and on the fifteenth track Beginning from the beginning you can also hear Santiago Ziesmer (SpongeBob) speaking.
All remaining tracks (with the exception of Taube Nüsschen ) are real songs, but they have the melody of another very well-known song. Pigeon nuts were taken from the SpongeBob SquarePants movie .
The album was released on March 11, 2011 in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . On the same day the song Lecker Lecker was released as a single. After the second single Hummer was released after the album was released, So a beautiful sponge was finally released as a single, but had the same cover as the album.
reception
The album sold well in Germany, and within the first week it was at number 17 in the German album charts . In Austria the album sold even better and became a number one hit . The album didn't get much criticism. It was called a "colorful and funny disc". Terrorverlag.de said the yellow album was “a colorful Krabby Patty buffet made up of 14 mixed compositions”. On iTunes , users gave it an average of 4.5 stars out of 5.

On November 25, 2011, the album BOBmusik - The Yellow Winter Album , which was also released by Sony BMG , was released. The album included all tracks that are also on the album BOBmusik - The Yellow Album and two other songs with the names Snow in Bikini Bottom and Frohes Fest . Both songs were also sung by Santiago Ziesmer . As with most of the songs on the album, the songs have melodies from other popular songs. On the cover of the album you can see SpongeBob with a Santa Claus hat. The song Snow in Bikini Bottom was also released as a single at the same time. In the charts, BOBmusik - The Yellow Album and BOBmusik - The Yellow Winter Album count as one album. That is, if The Yellow Winter Album had a higher ranking than The Yellow Album , it would count for The Yellow Album too . The two new songs have the numbers two and four in the track list, so that the songs that are actually in their place move. Here is the excerpt from the track list with the two songs:
