Sports science service

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Germany, sports science service refers to a group of careers for civil servants who require related training . The range of tasks primarily includes official business that requires a degree in sports science or appropriate professional training. Typically, only a limited range of uses is required for the career paths. ( Appendix 2 of the AVwV to the FSVO ).

General

In the federal government , careers in the sports science service can in principle be set up in all four career groups ( Section 6 (2 ) FSVO ). In fact, there are only two careers:

The establishment of a sports science service is out of the question in many areas, since the question of which career paths are set up in each department is essentially determined by the task structure ( AVwV to the FSVO ). Areas of application are conceivable e.g. B. as a sports teacher for the Bundeswehr , at the Federal Institute for Sports Science and in company health management . With the entry into force of the new Federal Career Ordinance (FSVO) in 2009, no careers have been converted into a career in the sports science service.

Career qualification

The career qualification for a career in sports science service is usually obtained through recognition. A subject-specific preparatory service (career training) has not been set up. To recognize the career qualification for the careers of the upper and higher sports science service, a corresponding subject group 02 "Sport" according to the university statistics of the Federal Statistical Office or a corresponding professional training is required. These include the study of sports science and training as a gymnastics teacher , teacher - dance and dance gymnastics, horse management master - specializing in horse racing training, horse management master - specializing in riding training, sports assistant, sports specialist , sports specialist , sports teacher , dance teacher or trainer - fitness and gymnastics ( Annex 2 of the AVwV for FSVO ).

Other career types

The number of careers that previously existed at federal level was reduced by the new Federal Careers Ordinance from 2009 from around 125 to a maximum of eight careers per career group (maximum 32). In addition to the sports science service, the following career paths can be set up in the federal government ( Section 6 (2 ) FSVO ):
