Technical administration service

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Germany, technical administrative service refers to a group of career paths for civil servants that require related training . The range of tasks primarily includes official business that requires technical training courses. ( Appendix 2 of the AVwV to the FSVO ).

In the federal government , careers in technical administration can be set up in all four career groups ( Section 6 (2 ) FSVO ). There are therefore four career paths:

  • simple technical administration service
  • medium technical management service
  • advanced technical administration service
  • higher technical administrative service

The career qualification for a career in technical administration is obtained through successful completion of a subject-specific preparatory service (career training) or through recognition. In order to recognize the career qualification for the careers of the upper and higher technical administrative service, a subject- specific study of the subject group of engineering sciences according to the university statistics of the Federal Statistical Office is required ( Annex 2 of the AVwV to the FSVO ). Since December 22, 2017, the business informatics course has been assigned to the non-technical or technical administrative service depending on the focus (before that, the non-technical administrative service or the scientific service). For persons with a commercial or commercial pilot license or with a doctorate but without a master’s degree , there are special regulations for admission to a career ( Section 23 Paragraphs 3–5 FSVO ).

Members of a career in technical administration generally have an official title with the prefix “Technical”, e.g. B. "Technical Government Council". Where access to a preparatory training for the elevated technical management service an already completed studies advance the first verliehe can post higher than the entry office to be (for example, "Technical Government Inspector."; The candidate then run as a service name "technical government inspector candidate").
