Agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary service

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Germany, the agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary service refers to a group of careers for civil servants who require related training . The range of tasks primarily includes official business that requires a degree in agricultural , forestry or nutritional sciences , veterinary medicine or appropriate professional training .

General

A career includes all offices that require related and equivalent qualifications and training ( Section 16 (1) BBG ). In the federal government , careers in the agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary services can in principle be set up in all four career groups ( Section 6 (2 ) FSVO ). In fact, there are only three careers:

  • medium-sized agricultural, forestry and nutritional science as well as veterinary service
  • upscale agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary service
  • higher agricultural, forestry and nutritional science as well as veterinary service

On January 27, 2017 ( Federal Law Gazette I p. 89 ), the career of the higher veterinary service was merged with the career of the higher agricultural, forestry and nutritional science service, so that the current term was created. The officials of the veterinary service were transferred accordingly. With the merger, a change in the official university statistics was followed.

Civil servants in the agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary services work, for example, in the Federal Forests division of the Federal Agency for Real Estate , in the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and in its subordinate division .

Officials with forest science tasks generally have an official title with the prefix "forest", z. B. "Forest Secretary", "Chief Forest Inspector" or "Forest Director".

Career qualification

The career qualification for a career in the agricultural, forestry and nutritional science as well as veterinary service is usually obtained through recognition. No subject-specific preparatory services (career training) have been set up at the federal level ( Annex 2 FSVO ).

In order to recognize the career qualification for a career in the agricultural, forestry and nutritional science as well as veterinary service, a corresponding subject group 07 "Agricultural, forestry and nutritional science, veterinary medicine" according to the university statistics of the Federal Statistical Office or a corresponding professional training is required. These include the subjects of agricultural engineering , nutritional science , fisheries , forest science / forestry , horticulture, timber management , land maintenance , veterinary medicine and viticulture . Among the vocational training include bakers , brewers Master , fish farmer , florist , forestry , gardener , caterer , chef , pastry chef , horse trainer , a restaurant manager , gamekeeper and sommelier ( Annex 2 of the AVwV to BLV ).

Transfer of careers in a special field

With the entry into force of the new Federal Career Path Ordinance (FSVO) in 2009, careers with a special subject will expire at the federal level. The following equations ( Annex 4 FSVO ) of the old careers clarify the range of tasks of the agricultural, forestry, nutritional and veterinary service:
