description

The hall church dates from the 13th century. Your choir tower has massive buttresses . The slate-covered upper floor of the tower has sound arcades behind which the belfry is located. An eight-sided, pointed helmet sits on top . The triumphal arch that separates the choir from the nave was added. In the remaining arch of the curtain , the year 1574 indicates that repairs were carried out. The year 1818 is given above the entrance to the nave for further restorations.

The nave is covered on the outside with a half-hip roof and spanned on the inside with a barrel vault. It has two-storey galleries , the parapets of which show scenes from the Old and New Testaments , which were built in the 18th century. The pictures of the apostles are now on the wall of the choir. The pulpit altar from the 19th century is in a portico . The organ front and the baptismal font also date from the 19th century. Inside the church are memorial plaques for fallen soldiers of the 1st and 2nd World War and for the victims in 1945 from the site.

The organ with 11 stops , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Hornschuh in 1920 and restored by Hans Helferbein in 1991.
