description

After the collapse of the late Gothic predecessor building, the hall church was built from natural stone masonry in 1894–1896 in neo-Romanesque forms according to the plans of the responsible building inspector . It has a retracted, just closing choir and a square church tower in the west . The nave as well as the choir has a gable roof , the tower a pointed pyramid roof . The portal is in the tower. The interior has three-sided galleries . On their parapets are canvas pictures with scenes from the New Testament . These pictures from the late 18th century come from the All Saints Church in Mühlhausen . The choir is spanned with a ribbed vault that rests on leaf-shaped consoles . The stained glass comes from the construction period. The organ with 15 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built by Friedrich Ladegast in 1896 . In 2000 it was restored by Karl Brode.
