The Evangelical Lutheran listed church of St. Laurentius is in Wolfsbehringen , a district of the Hörselberg-Hainich community in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . The hall church was built in 1762 using older components instead of the old Laurentiuskirche from 1475. In the east it has three walled-up ogival windows. The nave with five axes is covered with a mansard roof. The retracted church tower in the west was added in 1580, it was repaired as early as 1744. He received the slate-covered hood with a lantern in 1793.

The interior was painted in a neo-baroque ornamental style in 1905 , the central area of ​​the ceiling was given a painting with the Sermon on the Mount in Nazarene style . The gallery in the north is two-story. The neo-baroque pulpit altar is backed with a painted blue curtain. The cafeteria from 1905 made of sandstone has angel heads on pillars . The pulpit with the figures of the evangelists dates from the beginning of the 17th century. The baptismal font from 1650 is decorated with angel heads, masks and fruit hangings. The organ with 23 registers , divided into two manuals and the pedal , was built by Valentin Knauf in 1822 .
