The small Romanesque hall church was given its current shape through renovations in 1693 and 1781. A retracted square choir tower adjoins the nave . A small apse is added to the east. It is crowned with a pointed, three-tiered helmet .

The interior has single-storey galleries and is covered with a flat ceiling. In the choir it is painted with the baptism of Jesus , in the nave with the Ascension . The pulpit is Rococo - ornaments decorated. The organ with six registers , divided into two manuals and a pedal , was built in 1898 by Ernst Poppe & Sohn .
