The numerous frescoes are by Matthäus Günther from Augsburg . In the choir they show the vocation of Peter as head of the church, next to it in side panels on the right “They will not overcome the gate of hell” and on the left Jesus wandering on the Sea of Galilee . On the belt arch is the coat of arms of the bishops of Freising , between the arch and the main painting a representation of the conversion of St. Paul on the way to Damascus. The church patrons Peter and Paul are depicted on the church tower .
