The Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps is a football stadium in the French city of Auxerre . The football club AJ Auxerre (AJA) is the owner and main user of the facility, which opened in 1918. It offers 18,541 places on the four tiers. It is named after the founder of the AJA, the priest ( French abbé ) Ernest-Théodore Valentin Deschamps, who was also president of the club until his death in 1949.
