The Stade François-Coty is the club's own football stadium for AC Ajaccio . It is located in the Corsican capital, Ajaccio , France . It was opened on December 1, 1969 under the name Parc des Sports de l'ACA (Sports Park des ACA). It was also known as the Stade de Timizzolo ( Corsican : Stade de Timizzolu ). Around 15,000 spectators came to the opening with the game AC Ajaccio against Corsican rivals SC Bastia ; which is the record number of visitors to this day. Today it has space for 10,446 spectators. The stadium has since been renamed to the Stade François-Coty , which is still valid today . The name goes back to the former mayor of Ajaccio and perfumer François Coty .

In May 2007 renovation work began on the venue because it no longer complied with Ligue 1 regulations . With the construction of a fourth grandstand, the capacity increases to 13,500 seats. All grandstands are covered. The work was originally supposed to be completed in 2009, but this will be delayed until the end of 2010. The cost of the renovation amounted to around 9 million .
