The Stade des Alpes is a football stadium in the French city of Grenoble in the Isère department . It borders on Parc Paul Mistral , Grenoble's urban park.
history
The venue was opened in 2008 and is mainly used by the Grenoble Foot 38 football club , and since the 2014/15 season also by the Grenoble rugby club . In both cases it replaced the Stade Lesdiguières as the venue. The stadium measures 191 m in length and 144 m in width. The height is 22.50 m.
The grandstands are fully equipped with seats and covered with a transparent roof. A photovoltaic system with an area of 1000 m² is installed on the south side of the arena . It supplies 72,000 kWh of electricity per year. 440 parking spaces are available in an underground car park, and there are also 160 spaces for bicycles.
