Hof Süd is a district in the south of the independent city of Hof .

location

The district is located in the south or southwest of the city of Hof completely west of the Saale .

history

With the exception of the districts of Eppenreuth and Pirk, all districts were part of the former municipality of Moschendorf and were incorporated into the municipality in 1906.

Economy and Infrastructure

There are several furniture stores, kitchen studios and car dealerships in the district.

Tenowo, a company of the Südwolle Group , has a plant in Moschendorf .

The Integrated Control Center for Hochfranken is located in Ostpreußenstraße. The Sana Clinic , one of the largest hospitals that does not belong to a university, is located in the Anspann district .

The district is connected to the city center by numerous bus routes. However, the Moschendorf train stop no longer exists. A quick reopening is not planned, but when the Hof Mitte station was presented, Deutsche Bahn announced that it might introduce additional stops.
