Stefan Born (actor)

Stefan Born (born March 29, 1950 in Munich ; † January 15, 2018 ibid) was a German theater and television actor .

Life

Born completed his acting training at the Zinner Drama Studio in Munich. He played theater mainly in southern Germany. For many years he appeared at the Munich Volkstheater . There he played in 2001 together with Christine Neubauer in the play Der Marquis von Keith by Frank Wedekind ; Directed by Ruth Drexel . He also had engagements a. a. the Isar in the theater on the right ; there he appeared in around 120 performances of the play The Rhinos in the 1990/91 season . In 2001 he appeared at the Blue Mouse Theater in Munich in the play The Frog Queen by Kerstin Specht . In the 2003/04 season he took on Bockhorn Theater Würzburg , the role of the alienist Dr. Alois Alzheimer in the German premiere of the play The Acts of Auguste D. von Konrad and Ulrike Maurer. The Frankfurter Rundschau wrote in its review of Born's presentation: "Full of character plays Stefan Born the role of the human physician, who was due to personal problems to driven by the urge to explore workaholic." On Teamtheater Munich he played in the farce 2005 Nathan's Dachshund from Franzobel .

On television, he was mainly seen in television series and in several television films. He was very often used in series with a southern German , Upper Bavarian or Austrian background, such as B. The Rosenheim Cops , Forsthaus Falkenau and Der Bulle von Tölz . He had a recurring series role in 1991/1992 as a detective Ametshuber in the television series Löwengrube .

He was also the speaker of audio books and radio plays at Naxos . In 1988 he took part in the radio play Judas by Marcel Pagnol at Bayerischer Rundfunk in the role of Zabulon.

In the summer of 2005 Born suffered a serious accident; he had been in a vegetative state since the end of September 2005 . Born's grave is located in the north cemetery in Munich .
