Steffi Stephan (actually Karl-Georg Stephan ; born May 9, 1947 in Münster ) is a German rock musician and bass guitarist .

Career

Musician

Steffi Stephan started school in 1954 at the Kreuzschule in Münster, Westphalia. He later studied music there and is a member, co-founder and musical director of the panic orchestra .

In the course of his decades-long music career, Steffi Stephan played with many well-known rock and blues musicians, such as Peter Maffay , Udo Lindenberg (he was in a relationship with Udo Lindenberg's sister Inge), champion Jack Dupree , The Pretty Things , Eric Burdon , Stefan Stoppok , Edwin Starr , Achim Reichel , Jean-Jacques Kravetz , Milva , Ulla Meinecke , Harry Belafonte , Tony Carey , Gebrüder Engel, Volker Lechtenbrink , Johnny Tame , Helen Schneider , Inga Rumpf , Michael Chapman , Pamela Stanley, Gunter Gabriel , JFK The Rockopera, Jutta Weinhold , Gottfried Böttger , Dance Exercises, Hannes Bauer and the Orchester Gnadenlos, Henning Venske and Axel Schulß.

Music producer and entrepreneur

Steffi Stephan was the producer of all live albums by Udo Lindenberg & Panikorchester, four studio and one live album by the Engel brothers, the album “Rock gegen Atom”, the LPs “Dance Exercises”, “Rock - School Project”, Axel Schulß “Ich bin Schulß”, the double album “JFK the Rock - Opera”, the LP “Sarajevo Love” as well as the videos for Udo Lindenberg & Panikorchester “Livehaftig” and “JFK the Rock – Opera”, as well as numerous single Publications.

In addition to his musical career, Steffi Stephan runs the Jovel music club in Münster in changing rooms . In addition, from May 2000 to 2009 he organized the Eurocityfest , the street festival in the city center of Münster, formerly known as the city festival. In 1986 he organized the festival "Rock against Atom" on the Loreley . He also runs a recording studio.

Private

Steffi Stephan has a son from her relationship with Inge Lindenberg.
