Steinbachsgrund is a district of the city of Ludwigsstadt in the Upper Franconian district of Kronach in Bavaria .

geography

The wasteland lies in the valley of the Steinbach , a right tributary of the Loquitz , directly on the Thuringian border. A farm road leads to a communal road that runs to Falkenstein (1.1 km west).

history

Steinbachsgrund was founded after 1925 in the municipality of Steinbach an der Haide . On January 1, 1978 Steinbachsgrund was incorporated into Ludwigsstadt as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
