Fischbachsmühle is a district of the city of Ludwigsstadt in the Upper Franconian district of Kronach in Bavaria .
geography
The wasteland lies in the deeply cut valley of the Loquitz . There the Fischbach flows into the Loquitz as a right tributary. The wooded hills belong to the Franconian Forest , the Spitzberg is the highest elevation here ( 595 m above sea level , 0.6 km southwest). There is a slate quarry that has been designated a geotope . The forest area in the north is the nature reserve Falkenstein and Pechleite east of Lauenstein . The federal highway 85 leads to Lauenstein (1.4 km west) or Falkenstein past Probstzella (2.2 km north).
history
Fischbachsmühle belonged to the real community Lauenstein . At the end of the 18th century, Fischbachsmühle consisted of a property that was used as a grinding and oil mill. The high court exercised the Bavarian office of Lauenstein . The Lauenstein caste office held the manorial estate .
From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Lauenstein . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Fischbach mill received the number 31 of the place Lauenstein when the house numbers were assigned.
With the community edict, Fischbachsmühle was assigned to the Lauenstein tax district formed in 1808 and the Lauenstein rural community formed in 1818 . On May 1, 1978 Fischbachsmühle was incorporated into Ludwigsstadt as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
