Stephanie Vanessa Fantauzzi (born March 17, 1987 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is an American model , singer and actress . She became famous for her role as Estefania in Showtimes Shameless .

life and career

Stephanie Fantauzzi was born in São Paulo in March 1987 and grew up in Boca Raton , Florida . She is of Brazilian and Italian descent. She had her first appearances as a model and singer in New York and Miami . She studied journalism and sociology at Florida Atlantic University .

While visiting Brazil with her father in 2009, she got her first film role in Marcio Garcia's directorial debut, Predileção . Stephanie has appeared in numerous national commercials and television shows, including MTV's Death Valley and Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush .

In the fall of 2011, Stephanie began her recurring role as Estefania in Shameless , playing Jimmy's wife, the daughter of Brazilian drug lord Nando.
