Super League (Europe) 2004/05
The 2004/05 Super League was the twelfth season of the Table Tennis Super League . It lasted from September 2004 to March 2005.
In the men's race, 12 teams started, four from Austria, four from the Czech Republic, two from Hungary and two from Slovakia. A group of four and a group of eight played a sequence in the first half of the season (not the second half). The first four placed teams from both groups then fought for places one to eight in a play-off system. The last four of the group of eight played from places 10 to 12 in the play-off process.
This time, only eight teams were entered for the women, divided into two groups of four. Here, a round trip was played in the everyone against everyone mode. Then the first and second of these groups played for places 1 to 4, the rest for places 5 to 8.
Each team provided two doubles and four singles. There were two doubles and eight singles, which were carried out according to the federal system . In the group games, the competition was abandoned when a team had reached six points. In the play-offs all possible games were played, i. That is, results like 6: 4, 8: 2, 10: 0 were possible.
