Sylvain Fridelance (born July 14, 1995 in Saint-Barthélemy ) is a Swiss duathlete and triathlete .

Career

Sylvain Fridelance is the youngest of four siblings. His older brother Valentin (* 1991) is also active as a triathlete.

Sylvain Fridelance won his first title as Swiss champion in 2006. He has been part of the Swiss national team since 2010 and has been a professional athlete since 2015.

In 2017 he was runner-up in the triathlon in the U23 age group.

In July 2018 Fridelance became Swiss triathlon champion (sprint distance) and in August he won the silver medal at the European championships in Glasgow with the Swiss relay (mixed relay). In the 2018 World Championship racing series , the 23-year-old from Vaud was the second-best Swiss, who finished 42nd behind Andrea Salvisberg (36th).
