According to the new Dana classification, the class consists of subclasses 4 (oxides), 5 (uranium and thorium-containing oxides), 6 (hydroxides and hydroxyl-containing oxides), 7 (multiple oxides), and 8 (multiple oxides with Nb, Ta and Ti).
