Szalonna is a Hungarian community in the county Edelény in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Szalonna is located in northern Hungary , 50 kilometers north of Miskolc . The Bódva flows through the village . Neighboring communities are Martonyi , Perkupa and Szendrő .

- Roman Catholic Church Szent László , built in 1839
- Reformed church, originally built in the 11th century as a round church , later rebuilt and expanded several times, with a free-standing bell tower, built in 1765

The main road No. 27 runs through Szalonna, which meets the road No. 2613 in the town center. The station in the western part of the municipality is connected to the railway line from Miskolc to Tornanádaska .
