Edelény is a Hungarian city in the district of the same name in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County .
Location and cityscape
Edelény is located in northern Hungary , 25 kilometers north of the Miskolc county seat , on the Bodva River .
The Greek Catholic parish church ( Edelényi görögkatolikus templom ), built in 1983 according to a design by the architect Ferenc Török (* 1936), is a hexagonal central building made of rubble masonry, which is based on Byzantine models.
