Komjáti is a Hungarian community in the county Edelény in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .

Geographical location

Komjáti is located in northern Hungary , 54 kilometers north of Miskolc , two kilometers south of the border with Slovakia , on the right bank of the Bódva River . The neighboring communities of Bódvalenke , Tornanádaska , Bódvaszilas and Tornaszentandrás are about three kilometers away. The nearest town, Szendrő , is 21 kilometers south of Komjáti.
