Tampeko - A dollar has two sides (Original title: Per pochi dollari ancora ) is a spaghetti western by Giorgio Ferroni from the year 1966th
action
Towards the end of the American Civil War, the southern officer Gary Tampeko (originally "Gary Diamond") is released from a Union prison camp to persuade his former unit to surrender and prevent an attack on the well-fortified Fort Yuma. Tampeko's superior, the corrupt Major Sanders, wants to use the confusion caused by the hopeless venture to take possession of the war chest together with the bandit Riggs and his men. Although Tampeko is captured and apparently blinded by the bandits, in the end not only Riggs and Sanders but also the northern traitor Lefevre can stop the trade.
Reviews
"Cool sayings, groovy sound and a typically inscrutable plot shape this pearl of the spaghetti genre."
"A cavalry western that strives for a fair illustration of the American civil war situation and, despite all its severity, is positive."
"Exciting action western based on the US western with a very good Giuliano Gemma in the lead role."
“A relatively moderate and, in terms of plot, appealing European western, which formally only worked on average. Possible from 16. "
