Tanya Tate (born March 31, 1979 in Liverpool , England ) is a British porn actress . She joined the UK adult industry in 2009 at the age of 30 and has been commuting between London and Los Angeles ever since . Tate is known for her age for the MILF genre, for which she has been named MILF of the year nine times in four different prizes, including one XBIZ Award. It was also nominated four times for the AVN Award in this category.

Since appearing at San Diego Comic Con 2010 as the comic figure Emma Frost, she has also gained importance as an internationally recognized cosplayer , about which she wrote the book Tanya Tate: My Life in Costume . Her artist name, which, inspired by comic book writer Stan Lee , begins with the same letters, goes back to her preference for comics .

Career

Tate wrote a regular column for UK adult magazine Ravers DVD .

In 2010, Tate hit the headlines in Ireland after it was discovered that one of the amateur actors involved in the filming of their Television X series Tanya Tate Sex Tour Of Ireland was Gaelic Athletic Association player Greg Jacobs.
