Reviews

The lexicon of the international film judges: “The father-son story, which is interesting in itself, always remains on the surface, the coming to terms with the past is hardly developed. Action elements and the decorations of European locations are in the foreground. Despite routine staging, the film is only entertaining "dozen items". "

David Nusair wrote in Reel Film Reviews that the film was about half an hour too long. Nevertheless, it is " engaging " and " fascinating ". Gene Hackman and Matt Dillon would play effectively.

Spektrum Film judged: “As fast and action-packed as the individual actions are staged [...], the sequences usually seem to be stuttered together, an inner connection is not visible. A second fundamental flaw in the film is the clichés of the story. "

background

The film was shot in Dallas , Corpus Christi ( Texas ), Paris , Berlin , Lübeck and Hamburg , among others . It grossed approximately $ 9 million in US cinemas .
