Tatjana Jurjewna Kaschirina ( Russian Татьяна Юрьевна Каширина , English transcription Tatyana Kashirina ; born January 24, 1991 in Noginsk ) is a Russian weightlifter . She was runner-up in the world championship in 2009 and European champion in 2009, 2010 and 2012 in the weight class over 75 kg.

Career

Kaschirina started at the age of 14 in 2005 at the European Junior Championships (U16) in Sofia and took third place in the duel in the weight class up to 58 kg with 174 kg (78-96) behind Meline Dalusjan , Armenia , 197 kg and Roxana Cocoș , Romania , 195 kg. A year later she was at the Junior European Championships in Palermo in the weight class up to 69 kg with 214 kg (97-117) winner before Tatiana Schukowa from the Ukraine, who came to 208 kg.

2006 doping ban

Immediately after this European Championship, Tatjana Kaschirina tested positive in a doping control . It was then banned until September 8, 2008. The fact that such a young sportswoman (she was 15 years old at the time of the test) was doped does not throw a good light on the Russian Weightlifting Association and the officials and coaches responsible.

One week after the end of her doping ban, she started at the European Junior Championships in Durrës / Albania . She had meanwhile grown into the weight class over 75 kg body weight, in which she always started and won in Durres with a duel of 270 kg (120-150) ahead of Julia Katschajewa, Russia, 231 kg (103-128).

In 2009 she won the European Senior Championships in Bucharest . She achieved there in a duel 280 kg (125-155) and was with this performance before Natalja Gagarina , Russia, 253 kg (110-143) and Julija Dowhal , Ukraine, 252 kg (111-141). A few weeks later she achieved at the Russian Cup in Vladikavkas with 292 kg (127-165) new junior European records in duels and jerks and replaced no less than Agata Wróbel from Poland .

The highlight of her career so far was her start at the 2009 World Cup in Goyang / South Korea . Although she could not endanger the Olympic champion Jang Mi-ran from South Korea, the outstanding weightlifter of recent years in this weight class, in the duel , she managed to beat the little sensation of this lifter with 138 kg to 136 kg and thus become the new world champion . In a duel she achieved 303 kg (138-165), Jang Mi-ran came to 323 kg (137-198).

In 2010 she was again European champion in the weight class over 75 kg in Minsk . There she achieved 297 kg (135–162) in a duel, won all three titles and came to a superior victory in front of the Olympic runner-up in 2008 Olha Korobka from Ukraine, who weighed 273 kg (76.20 kg higher). 123–150).
