Tatjana Rinatovna Jambajewa ( Russian Татьяна Ринатовна Ямбаева ; born May 8, 1980 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Jambajewa appeared internationally for the first time at the unofficial U23 World Championships in 2002 in Val di Fiemme . There she took 18th place in the sprint and 13th place in the skiathlon . Her best results at the Winter Universiade 2003 in Tarvisio were ninth place over 5 km classic and fifth place with the relay. At the Winter Universiade 2005 in Seefeld in Tirol , she won the silver medal with the relay. In addition, she achieved tenth place in the sprint and seventh place in the 15 km mass start race and over 5 km freestyle. She also won the silver medal with the relay at the 2007 Winter Universiade in Pragelato . In the summer of 2007 she won the gold medal in the individual over 6 km and in the subsequent pursuit at the Rollerski World Championships 2007 in Oroslavje . With the relay she won the silver medal. In the 2007/08 season she started in the Marathon Cup and the Eastern Europe Cup . She won the La Sgambeda , the Dolomites Run and the Transjurassienne . She also came third in the Engadin Skimarathon and second in the Isergebirgslauf , the König-Ludwig-Lauf and the Birkebeinerrennet . In the Eastern Europe Cup she won the pursuit in Rybinsk and took third place over 10 km freestyle in Krasnogorsk . She finished the season in seventh place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup and first place in the overall ranking of the Marathon Cup. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season she won the Alpine Cup in San Cassiano over 5 km classic and in the 10 km mass start race and in Ortisei am Pillersee over 5 km freestyle. He also came second in the sprint there. At the Eastern Europe Cup in Krasnogorsk she triumphed over 15 km freestyle. In January 2009 she became the Russian champion over 10 km classic. In the same month she made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in Rybinsk , which she finished in 15th place in the mass start race over 10 km freestyle. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she took 32nd place in the 30 km mass start race and 19th place over 10 km classic. At the 2009 World Cup finals in Falun , she came in 38th place and reached 86th place in the overall World Cup and ninth place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. In summer 2009 she won the bronze medal over 5 km classic and the gold medal in the mass start race over 15 km freestyle at the Rollerski World Championships in Piglio . In December 2009 she was at the Alpencup in Hochfilzen over 5 km freestyle and in January 2013 at the Marcialonga third. In the summer of 2015 she finished in the Rollerski World Cup with seven top ten placements, including third place in the mountain run in Oroslavje, sixth place in the overall standings. At the Rollerski World Championships 2015 in Val di Fiemme , she came 11th in the 19 km mass start race and sixth in the mountain run over 10 km classic.
