Baptismal font in Agnetz

The baptismal font in the Catholic Church of St-Léger-Ste-Agnès in Agnetz , a French commune in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the 13th century. In 1850 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The limestone baptismal font stands on an octagonal base with eight pillars ending at the corners. These are created from a stone block with the octagonal baptismal font. Above the columns, the edge of the pool is decorated with a relief of plant motifs.

The lid of the baptismal font is made of lead and copper.
