Baptismal font in Fresnoy-en-Thelle

The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Nicolas in Fresnoy-en-Thelle , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the second half of the 13th century. In 1912, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 84 cm high limestone baptismal font stands on an octagonal base, which, like the basin, was created from a stone block. The rectangular basin is slightly rounded at the corners and decorated with reliefs in the form of flowers on the upper edge.
