The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Vaast in Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello , a French commune in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the second half of the 12th century. In 1906 the Romanesque baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 75 cm high font from limestone stands on a rectangular base, at the four corners columns sheet on the capitals are. The octagonal basin is adorned with a frieze of plant motifs. There are still traces of a paint finish.
