The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Jean-Baptiste in Romescamps , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the 14th century. In 1913 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 1.13 meter high baptismal font made of limestone stands on a rectangular base on which there are octagonal columns with simple capitals at the four corners . The Maltese cross is carved into the rectangular basin .

The oak lid dates from the 18th century.
