Baptismal font in Fitz-James

The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of St-Pierre-St-Paul in Fitz-James , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created at the end of the 15th century. In 1925, the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 89 cm high limestone baptismal font was probably created from a stone block. Both the base and the basin are octagonal. The upper edge is profiled.

The wooden lid is from more recent times.
