Baptismal font in Glaignes

The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame-Ste-Marguerite in Glaignes , a French parish in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the mid-13th century. In 1913 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The stone baptismal font stands on a nine-cornered base on which three pillars end. This is connected to the nine-sided baptismal font by a central column. The capitals of the columns and the basin are decorated with a relief of leaf motifs.
