Terje Moe Gustavsen

Terje Moe Gustavsen (born October 20, 1954 in Larvik ; † May 4, 2019 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian politician of the Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). He was Minister of Transport in the Jens Stoltenberg I government .
Career
Gustavsen worked in various positions at the Norwegian postal service Posten Norge from 1970 to 1981 . From 1999 to 2000 he was Strategy Director at Telenor . From 2002 to 2005 he was chairman of the employers' association NAVO. Then he was HR manager at the airline SAS Norge until 2007 . From 2007 until his death in 2019 he was head of the Norwegian road construction authority Statens Vegvesen .
Gustavsen was a member of Vestby's local parliament from 1983 to 1987 . From 1992 to 1999 he was part of his party's executive committee. On March 17, 2000 he was appointed Minister of Transport. He held this office until the end of the government on October 19, 2001.

Gustavsen died on May 4, 2019 after being hospitalized for a lung infection.
