The saxophone solo is by Edgar Winter . The song became a long-running radio favorite. In 1992 a version of Turner was released in a duet with Jimmy Barnes in Australia as (Simply) The Best . This was also received on the local version of the Simply the Best compilation , which also took its name from the chorus line of the song.
