Wildest Dreams is Tina Turner's ninth studio album , released on April 22, 1996 on Parlophone / Virgin Records . The album reached number 1 in Switzerland , number 2 in Germany and Austria .
history
Wildest Dreams was created with producers Trevor Horn and Terry Britten between the summer of 1995 and the beginning of 1996. Well-known songwriters were involved. The first single GoldenEye , the title track of the James Bond film of the same name, comes from U2 musicians Bono and The Edge .
Reviews
Bill Carpenter from Allmusic gave 2 out of 5 stars. He called Wildest Dreams an "exuberant album of euphoric tales and exhortations". It reflects Tina Turner's feeling of happiness with “Life after Ike Turner ”.
