Theoderich Kampmann

Theoderich Kampmann (born August 11, 1899 in Hattingen , † April 6, 1983 in Munich ) was a German theologian .

Life

From 1919 to 1923 he studied theology in Paderborn , Freiburg im Breisgau and Bonn . From 1924 to 1933 he was a religion teacher in Bochum . He completed his studies in German and philosophy in 1931 as Dr. phil. in Münster and the state examination in 1932 in theology, German studies, history and philosophy. From 1933 to 1935 he was teacher in Hagen . From 1935 to 1945 he was a lecturer in catechetics and pedagogy at the Archbishop's Academy in Paderborn . In 1945 he founded the Christian educational institution “Die Hegge”. In 1945 he headed the Officium catechisticum of the Archdiocese of Paderborn . From 1945 to 1956 he taught as a professor for catechetics and education in Paderborn. In 1956 he became professor for religious education and kerygmatics at the LMU Munich , from 1960 to 1967 professor for homiletics . From 1959 to 1960 he was Dean of the Catholic Theological Faculty. In 1964/1965 he founded the Religious Education Institute at the Catholic Theological Faculty. In 1967 he retired . In 1970 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit .
