In winter Thierbach can be reached via a ski route from the Schatzberg ski area . However, you need other means of transport to get to the ski area.

education

To this day there is a single-class elementary school in Thierbach , in which the children from the surrounding farms are taught from a wide area. From 1965, the local teacher Vitus Klingler taught first to fourth grade students in a classroom for 40 years. In the 2005/06 school year only 8 students attended the highest school in the Kufstein district, in the 2012/13 school year there were again 17 students and in 2014/15 14 students.
