District Court Rattenberg

The judicial district of Rattenberg is the Bezirksgericht Rattenberg under standing judicial district in the state of Tyrol . Along with the judicial district of Kufstein, it is one of two judicial districts in the political district of Kufstein .

history

The judicial district of Rattenberg goes back to the area of the Rattenberg regional and municipal court, which became part of Tyrol in 1506. In its current form, the judicial district was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 14 communities of Alpbach , Angerberg , Brandenberg , Brixlegg , Brugg , Kramsach , Kundl , Münster , Radfeld , Rattenberg , Reith , Steinberg , Wildschönau and Wörgl-Rattenberg . The area of the judicial district of Rattenberg was combined with the judicial district of Kufstein to form the political district of Kufstein in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 .

In 1900 the area of the judicial district of Rattenberg covered 550.78 km².

On June 1, 1924, the Rattenberg judicial district had to cede the Rattenberg-Wörgl cadastral community to the Kufstein judicial district.

The National Socialist administrative reform also led to a downsizing of the judicial district in the long term. With the "Ordinance of the Governor of October 15, 1938 on the division of the State of Tyrol into administrative districts", the "Administrative District Kufstein" (later "District Kufstein") was made from the previous District Kufstein, but without the municipalities of Bruck am Ziller and Steinberg am Rofan educated.

In order to bring the judicial district boundaries back into line with the political boundaries, the judicial district Schwaz took over the communities Bruck am Ziller and Steinberg am Rofan from the judicial district Rattenberg on July 1, 1970 . The area of the judicial district of Rattenberg decreased from 545.59 km² (1951) to 471.02 km² (1971).

In 2012, the dissolution of the judicial district of Rattenberg is on the program of the Ministry of Justice for the second time.
