After the First World War , Austria had to cede the entire judicial district to Italy .

history

The judicial district of Strigno was created by a proclamation of the Provincial Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the twelve communities Bienno , Castello Tesino , Cinte Tesino , Fracena , Grigno , Ospedaletto , Pieve Tesino , Samone , Scurelle , Spera , Strigno and Villa .

The judicial district of Strigno formed in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial districts of Borgo and Levico, the district of Borgo . The Strigno judicial district had a population of 13,635 in 1869.

In 1910, 15,206 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 389 stated German (2.6%) and 14,465 Italian or Ladin (95.1%) as their colloquial language.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Strigno was completely slammed into Italy.
