The judicial district Fondo was the District Court Fondo under standing judicial district in the princely county of Tyrol . The judicial district was part of the Trentino and belonged to the district of Cles . After the First World War , Austria had to cede the entire judicial district to Italy .

history

The judicial district of Fondo was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission adopted in 1849 and originally comprised the 17 communities Amblar , Brez , Castelfondo , Cavareno , Cloz , Dambel , Don , Fondo , Lauregno , Malosco , Romeno , Ronzone , Ruffrè , Sarnoniko , Sejo , Senale and Vasio .

The judicial district Fondo formed during the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the jurisdictions Cles and Malè the district Cles . The judicial district of Fondo had a population of 12,291 in 1869.

In 1910, 11,914 people were expelled from the judicial district, 1,086 of whom stated German (9.1%) and 10,791 Italian or Ladin (90.6%) as their colloquial language. The German-speaking minority concentrated on the communities Lauregno ( Laurein ), San Felice ( Sankt Felix ) and Senale ( Our Lady in the Forest ), each of which was almost exclusively inhabited by German speakers.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain , concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Fondo was completely slammed into Italy.
