history

The judicial district of Tione was created by a proclamation of the Provincial Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the 28 municipalities of Bolbeno , Bondo , Borzago , Bozenago , Breguzzo , Caderzone , Carsolo , Coltura , Dare , Fisto , Giustino , Javre , Lardaro , Massimeno , Montagne , Mortaso , Pelugo , Pinzolo , Preore , Ragoli , Roncone , Saone , Strembo , Tione , Verdesina , Vigo , Villa and Zuclo .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 onwards, the judicial district of Tione, together with the judicial districts of Condino and Stenico, formed the district of Tione . The judicial district had a population of 13,823 in 1869.

In 1910, 15,428 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 207 stated German (1.3%) and 14,903 Italian or Ladin (96.6%) as the colloquial language. 80% of the German speakers lived in Tione, almost all of which were military personnel.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Tione was completely slammed into Italy.
