The Tione district was a political district in the Fürsteten Grafschaft Tirol . The district comprised areas in southwestern Trentino . The seat of the district administration was the municipality of Tione . The area was added to Italy after the First World War .

history

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 when the political and judicial administration was separated.

The Tione district was formed from the judicial districts Condino , Tione and Stenico in 1868 . The Tione district was home to 34,647 people in 1869, with the district hosting 5,825 houses and covering 21.38 square miles.

The Tione district covered an area of ​​1226.79 km² in 1910 and housed a population of 36,928 people, of which 35,955 had Italian or Ladin , 264 German and 709 specified another language as a colloquial language or were foreigners. The district consisted of three judicial districts with 66 parishes. Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the district of Tione was completely slammed into Italy.
