The judicial district Hopfgarten was the District Court Hopfgarten under standing judicial district in political Kitzbühel (State Tirol ). The judicial district was closed on July 1, 2002 and the associated area was added to the judicial district of Kitzbühel .

history

The judicial district of Hopfgarten was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission from 1849 and originally comprised the five communities Brixen , Hopfgarten , Itter , Kirchberg and Westendorf .

The judicial district Hopfgarten formed political from judicial administration from 1868 together with the district court in the course of separation Kitzbühel to Kitzbühel .

In 2002 the judicial district of Hopfgarten (at the same time with the judicial district of Matrei in East Tyrol ) was dissolved. The municipalities of the Hopfgarten judicial district were added to the Kitzbühel judicial district.

Before the judicial district was dissolved, the judicial district comprised the same five municipalities as in 1849:

Brixen , Hopfgarten im Brixental , Itter , Kirchberg in Tirol and Westendorf .
