The judicial district Steinach was the District Court Steinach under standing judicial district in the political district of Innsbruck-Land (federal state Tyrol ). The judicial district was closed on July 1, 1977 and the associated area was added to the Innsbruck judicial district.

history

The judicial district of Steinach was created by a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission in 1849 and originally comprised the eleven communities of Gries , Gschnitz , Matrei , Mühlbachl , Navis , Obernberg , Pfonds , Schmirn , Steinach , Trins and Vals .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Steinach, together with the judicial districts of Innsbruck , Hall , Mieders and Telfs, formed the district of Innsbruck-Land .

Courthouse

Before the judicial district was dissolved, the court district comprised the communities of Gries am Brenner , Gschnitz , Matrei , Mühlbachl , Navis , Obernberg , Pfons , Schmirn , Steinach , Trins and Vals .
