The judicial district of Rovereto was the District Court Rovereto under standing judicial district in the princely county of Tyrol . The judicial district was part of Trentino and was part of the Rovereto district . It included the city of Rovereto in the Adige Valley and its surroundings. After the First World War , Austria had to cede the entire judicial district to Italy .

history

The judicial district of Rovereto was created by a proclamation of the Provincial Court Introductory Commission passed in 1849 and originally comprised the twelve municipalities of Benello , Calliano , Folgaria , Lizzana , Marco , Noriglio , Roveredo , Sacco , Terragnuolo , Trambilleno , Valarsa and Volano .

The judicial district of Rovereto formed in the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 together with the judicial districts Mori , Ala and Nogaredo the district of Rovereto , whereby the judicial district of Nogaredo was renamed in 1905 in the judicial district of Villa Lagarina . The judicial district of Rovereto had a population of 19,909 in 1869.

In 1910 34,959 people were expelled from the judicial district, of whom 889 stated German (2.5%) and 32,393 Italian or Ladin (92.7%) as the colloquial language. The German-speaking people in the judicial district of Rovereto lived almost exclusively in Rovereto, including numerous military personnel.

Due to the border regulations of the Treaty of Saint-Germain concluded on September 10, 1919 , the judicial district of Rovereto was completely slammed into Italy.
