The Imst judicial district is a judicial district subordinate to the Imst District Court in the state of Tyrol . Along with the judicial district of Silz, it is one of two judicial districts in the political district of Imst .
history
The judicial district essentially goes back to the area of the Imst regional court, which consists of the present-day communities of Arzl im Pitztal , Berwang , Gramais , Imst , Imsterberg , Jerzens , Karres , Karrösten , Mils bei Imst , Namlos , Nassereith , Pfafflar , St. Leonhard im Pitztal , Tarrenz and Wenns existed.
The judicial district got its present form mainly through a proclamation of the State Court Introductory Commission adopted in 1849, which made the eleven municipalities of Arzl , Imst , Imsterberg , Jerzens , Karrösten , Mils , Nassereith , Pfafflar , Pitzthal , Tarrenz and Wens a judicial district Imst united.
The area of the Imst judicial district was combined with the Silz judicial district to form the Imst political district as part of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 .
In 1900 the judicial district covered 661.60 km².
On April 1, 1907, the municipality of Karres came to the Imst judicial district.
By regulation of the federal government, however, the judicial district had to cede the communities of Gramais and Pfafflar to the judicial district of Reutte on September 20, 1947 , after the National Socialist administrative reform had already added both communities to the Reutte district in 1938.
The village of Piller of the municipality of Fließ ( judicial district Landeck ), which was added to the municipality of Wenns in 1938 and thus became part of the judicial district of Imst, was separated from the judicial district of Imst after the Second World War and reunited with the municipality of Fließ.
